Learn how to develop and market games for top mobile devices and platforms. Graduate School of Technology and Graduate School of Education are hosting a FREE One Day Spring Institute for Mobile App Development, open to the public, RSVP required.
This one day institute is presented by GameSalad, with GST Assistant Professor Irina Berman, Instructional Technology Specialist.
GameSalad prepares attendees to create full-featured games with the simple, powerful, drag-and-drop GameSalad Creator software. Using proven techniques based on essential concepts, current trends, and established best practices, attendees will learn how to create a real-world project from start to finish. The workshop’s wide-ranging coverage will encompass desktop, mobile, online, social, and serious games, as well as key platforms such as iOS, Android™, Mac, Windows, and HTML 5. This hands-on, highly visual, practice-based training is equally suited for current game developers and novice learners, with a balance of depth, detail, and step-by-step guidance that is ideal for both professionals and enthusiasts interested in developing their own games.
NYS certified teachers will receive a certificate for 6 PD hours.
Lunch will be provided, RSVP is required.
